South Pointe Middle School Music Building

Knowing the high level & extent of Music Program that WVUSD has for all grades & categories, this facility provides the corresponding exclusive necessary spaces for each budding musicians to learn, develop, and  enhance their music knowledge & talents.

The planning stage focused on providing sufficient and efficient spaces to group accordingly each area for music instrument storage (to cover their current & future music instruments inventory), individual practice rooms, and diverse ensembles and vast spaces to conduct various Band & Choir activities. During design and construction the emphasis was on ensuring the sound dampening for each room, most notably the Practice rooms. With issues of unavailability and/or short supply of some specified materials, complete and thorough attention was drawn-out to the acoustic level of available materials used to guarantee adherence  to the requirements of this project's technical specifications.
