Senior Project Manager

Position Responsibilities:

  • Actively lead small and large projects through all phases of development with limited supervision from Company Leadership. 
  • Produce, manage, or supervise the production of various project deliverables, including diagrams, 3D models, drawings, and renderings.
  • Oversee the project team to ensure high quality construction documents, including reviewing drawing sets, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
  • Perform construction administration, including review of contractor submittals and RFIs.
  • Conduct client meetings throughout the programming, design, and construction phases to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, consultants, and clients using timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual methods.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques. Must include knowledge of, or ability to learn, applicable requirements for K-12 educational projects, including the California Building Code (CBC) and the requirements of state agencies such as the Division of the State Architect (DSA), California Department of Education (CDE), Office of Public School Construction (OPSC), and local fire departments.
  • Manage own workload and time, as well as that of others, to meet project task deadlines and commitments, with occasional input and direction from Company Leadership.


Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Ability to supervise a team of at least 3-5 employees.
  • Lead others through example, mentor and train staff, set clear expectations and responsibilities, delegate based on team members' abilities, and empower them to succeed.
  • Draft proposals, participate in client interviews, and assist in negotiating fees and contract terms.
  • Create project-specific work plans that include project budget, key deliverables, and schedule.
  • Actively pursue internal and external professional development opportunities.
  • Help to establish standards, policies, and procedures for the firm.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Architectural degree is preferred; architectural licensing, or a desire to become licensed, is a plus. 
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in architecture or construction administration.
  • Integrity, initiative, and energy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD, rendering software, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Revit and Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Experience with K-12 educational projects and the DSA review process is preferred.



Job Captain

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ability to oversee the drafting process of a project and complete outstanding items or tasks while taking direction from a Project Manager.
  • Produce deliverables such as diagrams, 3D models, drawings, and renderings.
  • Coordinate the production of documents with consultants, contractors, and other team members.
  • Assist with construction administration by responding to contractor submittals and RFIs.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques. Must include knowledge of, or ability to learn, applicable requirements for K-12 educational projects, including the California Building Code (CBC) and the requirements of state agencies such as the Division of the State Architect (DSA), California Department of Education (CDE), Office of Public School Construction (OPSC), and local fire departments.
  • Effectively communicate with management, clients, consultants, and contractors through timely and appropriate written, oral, and visual means. 
  • Manage own time and workload, as well as that of others, to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from a Project Manager.

  • High school diploma required; architectural degree and desire to be licensed is a plus.

Architectural Intern

What are we looking for:

  • Motivated individuals who are currently attending or have recently completed college-level Architecture or Drafting programs.
  • Interest in moving up the ladder within the company - we are a small but consistently growing firm!
  • Experience in AutoCAD is preferred but not a requirement.

  • Hands-on experience with K-12 projects across Southern California including in-office work and site visits. (AXP hours towards architecture licensure offered)
  • One-on-one mentorship across all our offered disciplines with the goal of developing future leaders within our firm. 
  • We understand that school is a priority for our interns, so we offer flexible hours with the potential for hybrid in-person/remote employment.
  • Our office is conveniently located in central Claremont, near the Claremont Colleges. It is a 15 minute drive from Cal Poly Pomona, and 20 minute drive from Mt. Sac Community College.
  • Competitive hourly wage with an expected part-time employment of 16-20 hours per week.
